Design
TransOcean's beginning-to-end metalworking services start when our engineers work with your design teams. Our manufacturing professionals can offer valuable input about types of materials, finishes, dimensions, tolerances and part configurations. The final result is a cost effective design that fully meets your form, fit, and function requirements.
TransOcean can support your design efforts in several ways. First, we can participate in the early stages of design to help identify material and finishing specs, assess manufacturability and suggest cost reductions. For components already in production, TransOcean can help analyze production and assembly processes for increased efficiency and redesign.
Much of our design input is given as normal course of business in support of our customers and is provided at no charge. However, if you need us to take the design lead on a part or assembly, we can also do that on a per hour or project basis. We use both AutoCAD and Solidworks in Designing. We also can provide "Quick Turn Prototyping" services to our customers.
